Kenda Newbury is an accomplished choreographer, dance instructor and performer who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression and believes in teaching correct classical technique over tricks.

Her former students are dancing on Broadway, cruise ships and tours and in professional dance companies such as American Ballet Theater, Ballet Arizona, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Alvin Ailey and Paul Taylor to name a few.

Trained classically by the late-great Kelly Brown of the Phoenix School of Ballet, Kenda received many opportunities in the concert-dance and the dance-entertainment "worlds". On scholarship to many influential training schools, including Gus Giordano, ABT, Ballet West and others, she gained incredible training from reputable and well-known professionals.

Ms. Newbury has experience behind the camera as a lead dancer with small parts in commercials, television shows and television movies. Currently, she is a dance judge, teaches/coaches privately and choreographs for various contemporary (professional and amateur) dance companies, teams and organizations while running a professional touring dance company (AZDance Group), her other businesses and being a full-time mom of two.
