There is a possibility that all positions in the
Junior/Trainee and Pre-Professional divisions will be filled by August 30th. If
this is the case you will be evaluated and perhaps be used on a need-to basis or
considered for next season. We suggested that you audition July 12th if you
would like to be seriously considered as a full-season performer. Thank You.
Audition Requirements / Information (what to bring, etc)

serious dance students ONLY - (normally aged 12 to around 21) - technique and performance
quality are two very important factors, age is NOT a factor, performance quality
and technique ARE.

Each
audition is $15.00 (cash or check) per dancer, payable to AZDance Group
|
|
Class
consists of ballet, jazz and modern
combinations, learning of repertory/choreography, possible interview, possible
ballet barre work
|
|
Wear: tights (black
or pink), dark colored (solid) leotard, hair in bun. Bring: ballet, jazz and
Pointe shoes (only if you have training En Pointe for 2+ years), be prepared to
go bare-foot, both audition locations are currently on wood floors (no marley) -
bring spray bottle with water or rosin for Pointe.

Video Tape/Reel Auditions
|
Is past
due - video taped auditions were due April 1, 2008 for company
(professional) or Junior/Trainee (pre-professional / apprentice) positions. Feel
free however to mail in the above plus your reel/DVD so we have you on file - we
welcome that !

Other Auditions
|
CEOP
applicants will start to be viewed come September 2008. High School Dance
Instructors please submit students names for the upcoming 2008-2009 season -
contact the director at any time - we will come review students both in class
and during a live performance. Contact the director for further details. We will
be happy to help. This "position" is only for the spring time and only for high
school students enrolled and attending their dance classes.
